Suspected case tests negative for MERS-CoV

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health today (July 4) reported that the suspected case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) pending results yesterday (July 3) tested negative for MERS Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) upon preliminary testing by the CHP's Public Health Laboratory Services Branch.
